Duncan has over 35 years of experience and holds a B.S. in Geological Engineering from Michigan Technological University. As a licensed professional engineer, he manages environmental engineering and consulting projects, serving both the public and private sectors.
Duncan brings diverse team and program leadership with project experience including environmental consultation, soil, groundwater and sediment investigation, remediation and cleanup, asbestos/hazardous materials surveys and management, environmental decommissioning and demolition, environmental due diligence, NEPA, brownfield redevelopment, storage tank management, and compliance and response plans. He is thoroughly knowledgeable in regulatory procedures and reporting and has managed projects in several states throughout the Midwest.
Duncan meets the requirements of an Environmental Professional as defined in §312.10 of 40 CFR Part 312 and ASTM E1527-21. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Society of American Military Engineers, Detroit Post and is a past president.
Outside of work from spring to fall, Duncan crews on the C&C35 racing yacht, Contender, sailing on Lake St. Clair out of Bayview Yacht Club in Detroit, MI. In cooler temperatures, he can be found hunting in the Michigan woods, enjoying family time, and directing or acting in the occasional community theatre production.
