Ben Adams is a Staff Engineer for Environmental Resource Group. He graduated from Michigan Technological University in 2010. Ben is an Engineer in Training (EIT) and has extensive experience in remediation systems and environmental compliance for hazardous waste management. He is experienced in handling complex systems, troubleshooting issues and ensuring safety of operations, along with environmental permitting and compliance.
Ben has coordinated and conducted many field events and managed subcontractors. His experience includes site investigations with a wide range of contaminants including heavy metals, chlorinated solvents, and refined petroleum products. He has managed subcontractors on in-situ injection, excavations and soil borings. He is also experienced in a variety of groundwater sampling methods including, bailer, submersible pumps, passive diffusion bags, and peristaltic pumps.
Outside of environmental remediation Ben enjoys exploring the outdoors with his wife, including kayaking and mountain biking, all while enjoying a quality Michigan brewed beer.
